Team PGC

Our recreation competitive gymnastics team for female students, ages 8 and over, that are interested in a less demanding competitive experience than our nationally renowned Mannettes Gymnastics Team. Requirements for participation on Team PGC are to take one class per week and an additional training time for a three hour period on Wednesday - 5:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. or Saturday - 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Students accepted onto Team PGC must meet the requirements based on our class evaluation process held during the first week of classes. Team PGC's season begins in October and runs through June. Notify PGC of any interest by checking the box on the bottom of the Fall Session Registration Form. Checking the box will not commit you to anything. After Evaluation Week, further details will be sent to you. Upon receiving the info, those eligible can then decide if they want to make the commitment.

XCEL Team

The Xcel Program was developed to provide an opportunity for the recreational gymnast to compete while still having time for other sports or activities. Our Xcel athletes train fewer hours than those in the JO program but still have the opportunity to participate in USAG sanctioned competitions, making it the perfect option for those looking for a more flexible commitment. Our Xcel Program includes Silver, Gold and Platinum levels. At all levels, unique routines are choreographed to complement the strengths of each gymnast. If you would like more information, please contact our Xcel Program Director.

Jr Olympic Team

The Mannettes are a group of very special female athletes! Their dedication to their team and competitive gymnastics is proven by their success each year. The team competes under the sanction of the U.S.A. Gymnastics national program beginning at Level 2 through the Elite level. The Mannettes have won many State, Regional and National team titles. Individual team members have won Local, State, Regional, National and International Championship titles. Team members have competed as members of our U.S. World Championship, U.S. Pan American and U.S. Olympic Teams. Criterion for membership includes ability, potential, discipline, attitude, and parental support. If you would like more information, please contact our Head Coach.

Junior Olympic Levels

Developmental
Levels 2 and 3 are considered the Developmental levels. Although they perform in local competitions, these levels generally focus on building a strong foundation of basic skills. The skills gymnasts learn within these levels are the basis for every other skill they will do in their gymnastics career. If a gymnast does not have strong fundamentals, not only will that increase their chances of injury but it also decreases their chances of making it to the upper levels.
Compulsory
The Compulsory levels consist of Levels 4 and 5. These levels focus on continuing to strengthen and perfect basic skills that will help the gymnast be successful in the upper levels. Level 4 and 5 gymnasts are given opportunities to qualify for State Level competitions.
Optional
The Optional levels are levels 6 through 10 and are considered the upper levels of gymnastics. Level 6 and 7 gymnasts can compete up to the State Championship level. Level 8 through 10 offer competitive opportunities such as Regional, Eastern/Western and National Championships. After a gymnast completes level 10, they can attempt to qualify for the Elite/Olympic level.
